TRAVEL - Photo impression DE HALLEN in Amsterdam

A holiday or a trip to Amsterdam is also having a visit in De Hallen in Amsterdam West. You have to see this place. Come join me and I show you why.

De Hallen

Where once were they keeping the first electric trams in Amsterdam the goverment gave it a new life. In the former tramdepot, a monument built between 1902 and 1928 is now De Hallen Amsterdam located. De Hallen is the name of a cultural center in the Kinkerbuurt in Amsterdam-West, with a library, theater, cinema, restaurants, TV studios and craftcenter. So nice to see the old tram depot in a different setting

27 halls

De Hallen consists 27 halls where a diversity of companies have settled. Kinki Kapper (coiffeur / barber) to Hotel De Hallen, from bicycle to antique shop. It's hard to tell in a few words what you can see and do overthere, what kind of companies and what kind of  businesses you kind find and the important thing...what and how the atmosphere is. Well as regards the atmosphere ... indescribable ... impressive because I knew this location only as tram depot.
