BEAUTY - Finally found BLACK OPAL in the drugstore ETOS

Good morning without worries!! Yep, and especially if you have a darker skin tone and lives in Almelo and have trouble finding the right color foundation, concealer and facepowder. Well, I was super happy when I entered the drugstore ETOS in the Grotestraat (is a mainstreet) and saw that they had a shelf with the products of Black Opal !! Super super happy.

Let me say this: Etos doesn't pay me for writing this blogpost or the other blogposts (would be nice) and I've didn't received any products for free at home in a beautybox to reviewing them (would be loveley when they did).

Black Opal was not available everywhere in the Netherlands. Not even here in Amsterdam, so I was suprised and it was very amazing when I saw that the Etos drugstore in Almelo had a big shelf with the products from Black Opal.

felled down in amazement that they had it in the Etos in Almelo ! Yes , I need no longer fear my products if I 'm in Almelo.

The brand Black Opal

Black Opal is an American brand, which for years was not to get in the Netherlands. Over the past 10 years I have noticed that there are some shops who's selling the products but not everywhere. Black Opal products I can buy at the tropical shops here in Amsterdam and in the past in the big famous Dutch store V & D ... but they are out of business ...! They don't only selling make-up but skincare products as well and also for the men a whole skincare line . Unfortunately we can't get all the products in the Netherlands, but if you look at the Black Opal site you can order everything to the Netherlands & Europe . Keep in mind that you have to pay for extra costst like import duties, taxes and shipping.

The Black Opal assortment

The brand has four lines, namely: Black Opal True Color, Black Opal Color Splurge, Total Coverage and One True. All four target a specific audience. I've got the products from the TrueColor collection because they are well covered but not too exaggerated. If you want to have total coverage then I recommend to use the Total Coverage because the covering is amazingly good.

Packets of Black Opal are simple but a bit elegant, and some boxes are chic. Black with white lettering on the packaging, tight and square, all kinds of models.

Users advice

If you want to use the products from Black Opal and you have a (dark) brown skin, then I recommend first to try out the product on your jawline because you do not know if you have a yellow or red undertone. Most people have a yellow undertone (not just Asians) but there are also women who have a neutral undertone. Do not go on the Internet guessing what color you VERY MAYBE possibly have. Don't! Test it on your jawline which color is closest to your skincolor and skintone. In most cosmetics houses they have a color chart you can look at. Once you know your size it is easy to order on the internet. Please note that prices vary with the sellers.

Facial Products : foundation, concealer and face powder

In order you use the products so the shelves they've well stocked. Black Opal you can indeed get a number of products in the Etos or the other drugstore DIO drogisterijen, but unfortunately not in the DIO in Almelo.

I recommend the loose powder, the Deluxe Finishing Powder, from Black Opal the dark color. This color is so super good for the glow of your face. It adapts to your skin giving you a warm glow .

Contour powder, blush and highlighter

They don't selling these products in the Netherlands but also not on internet or their webshop. Do they have it in the UK, US or other countries?? Please leave a common below this blogpost if you know it.

Eye products

Black Opal has great colors that are very good and are actually just beautiful on a dark skin! I believe and that is my opinion that people with darker skin are privileged because they can put almost all colors of eyeshadows and it's beautiful....But you have to blend the eyeshadow very good to give the best result. Only using 1 color eyeshadow on your eyelids is for me NOT DONE. You give more dimension by first applying a light color to skin-colored layer, the desired color, blending well so you don't see lines and only then to blur the three colors another color over it. In addition, Black Opal also has a brow powder to the eyebrows.

Conclusion

Tinted women, ladies , mothers, in da house ..... do you live in Almelo and you know the way to the drugstore ETOS, Grotestraat 82? Get Creative I'll would say ..buy a set of foundation, concealer and face powder for the warm period and a set for the cold period . Your skin changes include color by the sun so you are in the winter lighter color than for example in spring or summer. Think about it but because you are not using throughout the year the same color foundation and powder. With the right colors and the right way of makeup on your face, you will look radiant and natural .... Practice makes perfect .
