Do you love the Indonesian cuisine? Have you ever eaten Kolak Labu? A sweet pumpkin dish with coconutmilk that is eaten as a dessert. Yes, even the Indonesian cuisine uses pumpkin, only with different ingredients than we used in the Netherlands, namely coconut milk. In a photo tutorial I'll show you how to prepare it.
1 pumpkin from about 500 grams
400 dl . boiled water + 100 dl . coconut milk from a carton which you cook together
THE TOTALY MOISTURE SHOULD BE HALF A LITRE
1 chopped block Java sugar (gula Jawa you can get it from the asianstore) and melt it first than put the coconutwater in a pan on the stove .
3 Pandang leaves (Daun Pandang in the asianshop) you tied them together and add it in the liquid
half a teaspoon of salt
