Does anyone knows the sate ayam? It's an real Indonesian recipe. Choped chicken fillet on a wooden stick in a marinade of herbs. You can order it in a Chinese or Indonesian restaurant but you can make it by yourself. This recipe is from myself because I like very spicy food and if possible very spicy but that is not to my stomach. This recipe is for about 4 people.
Supplies
500 grams of chicken breast1 small head of garlic (or two tablespoons of crushed or pureed garlic )
pinch of salt
pinch of black pepper
poultry seasoning to taste
1 tablespoon ground coriander
1 tablespoon ground cumin
2 bouillon cubes
1 tablespoon sweet soy sauce (soy sauce Kaki Tiga)
1 teaspoon oyster sauce
1 teaspoon fish sauce
sambal oelek desired
Wooden skewers 1 hour soak in lukewarm water and then watering with sunflower oil.
Preparation
1. Cut the chicken into blocks.
2. Chop the garlic finely and mash them together with the bouillionblokken, chicken spices, coriander and cumin .
3. Add the diced chicken in a large bowl and add the spice mixture.
4. Now put the soy sauce, oyster sauce and fish sauce in.
5. If desired, add sambal oelek for pithiness.
6. get soaked skewers from water and let it dry on a towel
7. Thread the cubes chicken onto skewers. Rule is: three on one stick.
8. Grill satay in a frying pan with butter and a dash of sunflower oil. The meat in this way is very tender with the butter. After baking immediately wrapped in aluminum foil so that the meat juices are staying in the meat.
Chicken satay eat in combination with homemade peanut sauce, lontong (diced sticky rice) or pieces of baguette with sliced pickled gherkins and natural krupuk.
Enjoy your meal...and as we say in the Indonesian language...Selamat makan
Greetings Paula
