FOOD - Quiche from spinach and white cheese in filo pastry

Lately, I was looking for dishes whome are easy, quick and delicious. The oven dish I made today is with spinach and white cheese in filo pastry. In my freezer I had a lot of filopastry and wanted to make a dinner with it. So I found this recipe.



Ingrediƫnts


1 packet filo pastry from the freezer (read the instructions before using)
1 onion
2 cloves garlic
butter to grease the baking dish
1 beaten egg 
250 grams spinach

6 eggs

One block of white cheese (i've bought mine in a Turkish shop)



Potato Seasoning mix

Pinch of salt and pepper



Preparation

Chop the onion and the garlic and fry them together with the spinach in a little bit oil. Let it cool down and chop the spinach fine.
Cut the white cheese in blocks and mix it with the spinach. Add 1 egg and mix it all together.



Grease the baking dish and now pull the packet with filo pastry from the freezer and place the rolls on a cutting board. Put a damped tea towel over it to keep it damped.


Place a sheet of filo in the baking dish, brush the dish with the beaten egg, than put a sheet on it and brush it well again with the beaten egg, repeat this until you have used all the filo. Do not forget to also cover the edges.


Now add the spinach cheese mixture into the mold and create with a spoon little holes in the dish so that you can put an egg into each hole. Sprinkle salt and pepper on it



Fold all fillo together and over the pie so that it's completely closed and covered. My filo crumbled and so I had to put some filo seperate on top so the quiche was completely closed.


Put the quiche in the oven and bake it for 45 minutes until on 180 degrees.


After 45 minutes your quiche ready

Try this dish and enjoy your meal.
